The annual meeting of the Hongkong Banyolent Society was held in the City Hall at noon to-day. Mr. T. F. Hough presid- ed and there were also present Mrs. Wolfe (Bon. Treasurer), Mrs. MeKenny (Hon. Secretary), Miss Wilkinson (assistant Hon. Basret ary), and a good number of lady members of the Bocisty.

Mr. Hough presented the fol- lowing report and statement of Bccounts for the year 1917-- The Society was founded in 1889, and the number of cases entered in the books has resobed 1,476.
