With the American Forces in Franos, Thursday, December 6.--- The greatest school of war the American Army has ever known and which, when fully under way, will probably be the greatest of say Army, began operations to-day in and about a French town, the history of which dates back a thousand years. Within field-glass range of the old Roman walls surrounding the tawa, in which the headquarters and staff college are established, there are numerous localities where already many men are be- ing trained in the science of war and all ita details. When the school in in full progresa more than 10,000 studente will be in training here.
