Manifestly, then, it is advisable o detonate the bomb below! the submarine, 19 the ebook transmitted will be proportionally greater than if it were above it! other things being equal; As to the distance at which Han explosion would be abeolutely destructive, rapturing the plating and sinking the submarine, Mr. Andeon Maxim writes me that if 500 pounds of trinitrokolnol wete exploded deep under water within 125 (feat of a deeply sabmerged submarine, it would completely destroy it.
