this arrangement?
I have to request information as to whether it is intended by the Colonial Government that this Officer's time should be solely and exclusively placed at their disposal?.
If not, from my previous experience during the time I have been in the Colony and Lieutenant Mostarry has been Assistant Surveyor General, I do not consider he can attend to his Departmental duties in addition to his inserted duties in the Surveyor-General's Office..
Should he be wholly drawn from his Military and Departmental duties, he would come under clause 15.
