Free Homes and Lecomes. By a codicil to his will executed thren,weeks before his death on September 7, Alderman Lezards Hart, ex-Mayor of Ramsgate, bequeathed an acre of ground and £10,000 for the purpose of building ten havens of rest for perajns of any age or sex. Five residente are to be Jaws nominat- ed by the Jewish Board of Guardians in London and five of other faiths abosen by the town' council of Ramsgate. Not more than £3,000 is to be expended in building havens; £1,000 is to be invested to maintain the property in repair, and the income from the remainder will be divided i equally between the occupants of the houses. Mr. Hart directed that two employees who had been in his service for many years should be entitled to become residents of the houses. The bequest is vested in the Mayor and Aldermen of Ramsgate.
