The Yokohama gas works will shortly receive a permitto increase· the price of gas in Tokohamu The Governor of Kanagawa pre- fecture has approved the increase. The present rate of gas in Yoko- bama is Y.1.70 per 1,000 cubic- feet, which will be increased to Y2.20. The main resèon for increasing the price in the high | cost of coal, which has now trabled:
