SENSATIONAL ÄFFAIR IN NEW TERRITORIES.
Ex-Military Man. Robbed' and Tied to a Tree.
An exciting story of how a European was attacked by armsd robbers, bound up and rabbed, was told to Mr. Dyer Ball, at the Police Court this morning, when three man were charged with committing smed robbery in the She Tau Kok district of the New Territories on Septembar 12. The European concerned was Erness William Gardiner who is
Evidence was then given by the coolis women, who bare out Mr. Gardiner's story.

It appears that the first two de fendants were arrested some days ister at Yenmati, from information which had been received. The other was arrested' at Sha Tao Kok.
