Printers Strike in Tokyo. A few days ago the printere employed by the Hakobankwao, a well-known firm of publishers in Tokyo, went on strike, and were followed by all the work. men, nambering 700, employed in the Kagicho works of the Shueishs, one of the largest printing establishments in Tokyo. On the 22ad alt. the printere demanded an immediate increase of wagen by 20 per cent., but the. employers wanted to postpone the indresss to eome fature date. Thereupon all the employees, including 200 women sad girle,| went on strike. Efforts are being made to effeci s compromite, bai so far no settlement has been arrived at.
