East End Explosion Claims.
Mr. Kellaway, for the Ministry of Munitions, has stated in the Commons that in connection with the Esst End explosion 11,000 claims for compensation have been lodged. Of that number 5,650 have been approved and 5586 actually paid.
Discharged Man's Suicide. A verdict of Suicide during temporary insanity" was returned at a Stepney idgoest recently on Sidney Oscar L'oyd, 34. of Bethnal Green, who had jumped from a bedroom window to the ground below.
