Sumitomo Bank's New Capital.
The subscription list for the Sumitomo's Bank's new shares amounting to 13,000,000 (30,000 shares), was closed on the 15th ult.
More than six times the number-of-shares were applied for, the total being-182,779. The highest premium amounted to Y55 over face value, and all applica tions at or over 138 premiu were sccepted. As to chers of T37, these were accepted in the proportion of one share to ferr applied for.

Posted As Missing. Lieutenant George Bell Miller, formerly of the Shanghai and Hongkow Wharf Company, who left some time ago to do hir bit is posted as missing. Mr. Miller was a Second Lieutenant in the 13th Battalion Highland Light Infantry, and was attsobed to the 18th Division of the Bayal Flying Corps.
