I have had under my consideration your despatch No. 112 of the 25th of September last, forwarding the estimates for the Colony for 1873.
I observe that, relying on a probable excess of assets over liabilities on the last day of the year of $89,000, you have included in the estimated expenditure votes which, on the whole, amount to exceed the estimated revenue of the year by $56,000.
