Still the work cannot
be
completed within this financial year,
and I have, therefore, placed $15,000 on the Estimates
for 1893, believing
that an equivalent sum would be expended this
year. But
in this I have been
mistaken, as it has taken longer to
arrange for temporary Office accommodation than was
contemplated.

Regarding the
proposed Civil Hospital I have already addressed
Your Lordship, vide despatch of 29 June

No. 7540, and I need, therefore, only state that $50,000, as an instalment, has been provided for the building, which I trust will be erected on plans received from England.
