Chinese Military Affairs
Commissioo.
The Chinese Prime Minister has organised a Military Affira Commission to discuss questione of military affairs arising out of the diplomatic rupture with Germany. A number of prominent officers have been appointed san members of the Commission. The. Commission is to hold meetings every afternoon, says the Peking Daily News, ard the Prime Minister will preside over the moetinge."
Accident to Fung Kun-cheong.
We regret to bear, says the N. C. Daily News of March 24, that Vice-President Fung Koo cheong met with a nasty accideat yesterday in Neaking when driv ing. The horses took fright si something and overturned the carriage, and the Vio-President injured bia sem sgainst a pices. of wood. Ia response to a tele gram, Dr. N. H. Bolton left for Nasking by the mid-day express to attend to General Fang, to whom we extend our sincere sympathies.
