Colony on the 18th
of August.

after that the Coin could be obtained from the
Banks, and hardly

elapsed before the whole amount

into circulation.
After the receipt of the new supply I shall be better able to write as to the quantity required
from
time to time in order to keep the Market supplied, but I
would
request Your Lordship to cause the Crown Agents to be instructed to forward a similar quantity
to that now
referred to,
(viz: £3000) at the expiration of three months from the date when
I may
receive the new
Supply which
will have been ordered on the arrival
of my Telegraphic message.
