The 2nd floor worth was ordered on the receipt of Governor's No. 8966; this despatch does not settle the doubt there was felt as to the meaning of the term 'equal proportion'. But as a copy of the letter to the Royal Mint dated 4th September has been sent to Hongkong, he will be sure to telegraph if we have misunderstood him.
He now requests that the supply to be sent 3 months after the 2nd reaches him.
