Consular Official's Sudden Death,
Says the Singapore Free Press of January 18-The painfully sudden death (ccurred yesterday of Mr. A. W. Gconeratas, Chan- cellor of the Royal Siamese Cot-, sulate in Singapore.

No Mufti for Officers la London.
Officer in London are now forbidden to wear mufti within the limits of the London District: Command, except in private houses and in clube of at least twenly five years' standing. Slingsby Legitimacy Sult. The House of Lords last month, without calling on counsel for the respondents, dismissed the appeal in the Singeby legitimacy suit with costs, to be paid personally by the goardian ad litem or next friend.
