With regard to the new German raider, it is now recalled that | a month ago the Chilean (German-owned) barque Tintɔescaped from the little port of Calbuco, Chile, after loading considerable supplies of provisions and live stock. It was then earprated that she was intended for privateering.

The Prince of Wales, presiding at the Soldiers' Graves' Committee, stated that 100,000 graves had been registered in France and Belgium, and that sixty of four hundred burial grounds had been beautifully laid out, ünder the advice of the Director of Kew Gardens. We were also caring for the French Cemeteries in the line taken over. The experience gained in France and Belgium was being applied elsewhere.

His Royal Highness welcomed the first attendance of the Dominions and India Committeemen.

The rebellion in Tripoli originated in an intrigue by a well-known native agitator Baruni, who fled from Tripoli and returned supplied with Turco-German funds. He stirred up two tribes and concentrated three columns estimated at 6,000 strong against the Italian friendlies.
