A SUGGESTION,

(To the Editor of the Hongkong

Telegraph.)

All of us, I'm sure, ara very keen to know the exact amount which "Oar Day" efforts will realise, Why not give every one a chance of guessing, say at $1 s ticket? The guess could easily be entered on the counterfoil of the sold ticket, and if some generous donor would present a prize for the winner or nearest, the whole amount realised could go to help well the Red Cross funds, The time is short, I know, but a couple of days would suffice to get all the tickets out, if the al- ready hard worked committee on ses their way clear to adopt the ideo.

Thanking you for inserting this.
