Hitherto the prospec. tive manufacturers of pulp in Japan have been the Oji Paper Mil Co., Nippon Kagaku Koryo" Kaisha, and the Saghalien Indus- trial Co, all intending to carry. On operations in Baghalien. Lately the Fuji Paper Mill Co, has announced a project for the manu- facture of pulp, while & New company has been started in Kushiro, Hokkaido, called the Kushiro Paper Mill Co., its opera- tions including also the manufac ture of pulp.
