With reference to your letter of 2nd July last, I am directed by Lord Kimberley to transmit to you, for the same to be laid before Earl Granville, a copy of a despatch from Sir Arthur Kennedy, enclosing a correspondence with the Commodore in command of measures to prevent the revival of Piracy.

A copy of these papers will also be forwarded to the Admiralty for their Lordships' consideration.
