The stock in Shanghai on the 19th August consisted of about 30,500,000 z. in sycee and 16,000,000 dollare, as compared with about 32,500,000 cz. in syCES and 18,000,000 dollare on the 5th August.
No chipment was made from San Francisco to Hongkong dar ing the week.
The Canadian Department of Mines states that the protaction of silver in that Dominion in 1915 was "28,401,735 cz. valued at $14,088,267, BB against 28,449,821 cz. in 1914, valued at $15,593,630 Silver is the prin- cipal metal that did not show SD increased production in 1915.
