And in order to think that it may be alleging that he had been maimed this night arm. Before doing this act (agreement) we must make it appear that Senor Chica and Senor Forre Buens had a question of money pending, which Senor Chica wished to have settled at all cost before fighting. But in view of the resistance of Senor Forre Buens, and in consequence of the witnesses failing to come to an agreement, Senor Chica desisted from his proposal in order that the duel might take place immediately.

An agreement, to be known, we issue this present document signing it hereunder. Stoughtong dated as above.
