I have received your despatch 2084 of the 26th July, reporting the suspension of Mr Quin, Paymaster of the Police Force.

and

Your despatch 207% of the 2nd August, forwarding Mr Quin's appeal against his removal from the service of the Government of Hong Kong.

Having carefully considered the charges brought against Mr Quin, together with his defence, I feel myself under the necessity of confirming the Inspector's decision.
