At a recent meeting of the Parramatta Council the health officer reported that a shop and dwelling occupied by a Chinese dirty condition and dangerous to health. Ho recommended that a notios be served on the owner to abate the nuisance. This shop is in the main street, and many compisinta have been made concerning the namber of Chinese who are allowed to carry on business in that quarter.
