Report of the Acting Attorney General upon Ordinance No 9 of 1872, entitled

"An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice of the Legislative Council thereof, for the Prevention of the Carriage of dangerous Goods on board Foreign Ships without due Notice."

This Ordinance was prepared to extend to Foreign Ships when within the waters of the Colony the provisions of the Merchant Shipping Act 1854.
