The one hundredth report of the Court of Directors to the ordinary yearly general meeting of abareholders to be held at the City Hall, Hongkong, on Saturday, February 19, at noon, statere
SANITARY BOARD.
A meeting of the Sanitary Board was held this afternoon over which MrD. W. Tratman (President) presided. These also present were-Col. Crisp, RAMC, Dr. Pearse Medical Officer of Health), Mr. Chan Kai-ming, Mr. P. W. Goldring, Mr. F.B.L. Bowley, and M. Bowen Rowlande (Secretary).

Government Loan Paid Off
We learn, says the Peking Daily Ness, that in November last year the last instalment of the Canton- Hankow railway loan of 110 million pounds sterling from the British Hongkong Government, principal and interest, was paid by the Chiness Government, so that Chins has cleared herself of one of a series of foreign loans contracted during the last few decades for various purposes.
