Our local market has been much brighter during the week under review and values in many instances have advanced, but it has possible to exccute all buying orders owing to the reluctance on the part of holders of shares to sell at quotations; the market closes with an upward tendency. The January settlement passed off satisfactorily this morning. Bar-Silver is quoted at 26.15/16 per oz. for ready.
Exchange on London opened to-day at 1/117 T.T., on Shanghai 734, T.T. and at 747 for 3 dla bills.
