charges brought against F. & Quin, Paymaster of the Police Force.
Good conduct pay, payable to a constable for Zuiim, is not paid for five months, but the constable's receipts are produced. Something very like this happened here. The constable was not informed Gratuity of $60 payable by Lun t constable. For Quin pays $15 - obtains a receipt in full & tells the man that he will pay him the balance later. He does not however pay him, but states on the receipt that he saw the payment made, this assertion being of course false.
The charges
are held to be proved – Quin in fact not denying them, but attributing them to negligence
and der Luin is
