A bookeeper was granted a total salary of £400 of which he drew as Interpreter.
If Your Lordship should consider that the book pay be granted to Mr Damesky, I will take an early opportunity of laying the case before the Legislative Council.

At the same time he expressed his surprise that I was not already receiving the same amount as Messrs. Lister and Wodehouse.
