Taking the British statistion pablished yesterday se a rough guide, we may make a little cal. oulation of the Austro-German losses in the Bareth river during the past fortnight. The British statistics show that the number | missing (ie prisoners of war etc.) represent about one-sixth of the total casualties. We are told that the Russians during the past fortnight have captured in the : Bareth river region alone to leam. than forty thousand prisoners!
