Lighting Hankow. We understand that Mesars, Andersen, Meyer and Co. have obtained the contruos for the whole of the lighting of the city of Habgchow. The machinery will be supplied partly by British and partly by American firme, Birmingham's Next Lord Mayor. Mr. Neville Chamberlain, a of the late Mr. Joseph Chamber- Tin, is to be invited to socept nomination as Lord Mayor of Birmingham, and it is understood that he will consent, Mr. Nevilla Chamberlain, who is aged 46, only entered the Council in No vember, 1911, and a few months ago was created sa alderman. His father was three times Mayor of Birmingham.
