Hongkong is the headquar ters of several other important corporations, like the four leading Eastern insurance companies, for instance, who, if they have not already done so, might combine patriotism with profit by investing part of their reserves in the War Loan, as the Prudential and other Insurance Companies of England- and the Canadian Iosurenos Com-
panies have done. In the case of Canada it is the more creditable,

Subscriptions to the War.
