NY EUROPEAN desiring to leave the Colony should "apply in writing for permission to do so to the Provost Marshal, Head Quarters Offices, at least 48 hours before the intended hour - of departure, giying name, nation- ality age, sex, height, complexion and occupation of the applicant,! and stating" the name of the steamer or other vossol or thol hour of the train by which tho applicant wishes to leave. Ap plicants should apply' in person for their passes to the Provost Marshal at Head Quarters Offices between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.in. and 2 to 4 pm, daily.
