They therefore had no hesitation in studying and constructing. that type of sagine together with the four-stroke cycle one. But, aware of the fact that it was not advisable to start on this new line without precise data on the advantages of the two-stroke oyale, derived from their own experience, they faced the heavy cost of erecting a couple of two- stroke cycle engines at the worka for trial purposes. The experi- ments took place over a period of two years. The author man- tioned the following enginés con- strnoted at the Schneider worką as being worthy of note:-
