that the whole of the nuisances provided for by this Ordinance, have formed the subjects of complaint and remonstrance, in the Press and elsewhere; and that during many months of the year their offensiveness is intensified by the necessity the climate imposes on every one of living day, and night with open windows.

I think that the Royal assent may be properly given to this Ordinance.
