Make application for extended powers in this respect by amendment of their Ordinance incorporation.
We are instructed to represent to you respectfully requesting that His Excellency the Governor be pleased to take them into consideration and introduce a Bill amending so much of the present Ordinance as may be necessary for giving the Directors the extended powers which they consider necessary for the proper carrying on of their business.
In case His Excellency should be disposed to consider this application favourably, we would suggest that the Honorable the Acting Attorney General may be instructed to prepare the amending Ordinance necessary for effecting the purpose, and as the matter partakes of a private nature, we shall be happy to pay his professional fees for his services.
