Thors has been very little business doing during the week owing to the April settlement which has been a particularly heavy one Bar Silver is quoted 27 3-16 per oz ready and 27 3.10 per oz for forward delivery, market steady. Exchange on London openend to-day at 1/11-3/8 T. T.
Para Babber is quoted from London at 2/11 per lb, and the market for shares firm. Banks:-Hongkong and Shan.uai Banks azo steady at $810 after sales.. Loudon quotes £82/10/-
Marine Insurances-Unions are easier with sellers at 8785. North Chinas are firm at Tle, 145 bayera. Cantona were done at $331 and there are further buyers at. $332. Yungtazes are steady at $210.
Fire Insurances-Chins Fires have boyers at $140 and sellers at $145. Hongkong Fires continue in demand at $368.
Shipping China Manilas have bayers at $8. Douglases can be obtained at 881 Hongkong, Canton and Macao Steam- boats have declined to $28 sellers, Indo-Chinas are on offer at $675. Shell Transporte are steady at 103/- buyers. London quotes 104 Star Ferries are quiet at $48h sellers,
