Sanitary Board Bys-Election.
The lack of interest in the Sanitary Board bye-election is not a matter for public congratulation. The election is to fill the seat, temporarily vaone by Mr. F. B. L. Bowley and it takes place under conditions which were announced in the local press almost a week ago. Up to the present only only one asndidate, Mr. W. L. bren nominated. Mr. Carter has already had experience of the work and in a most desir- able candidate for the honcur,, Bat there are probably others who could do equally as wel and whose candidature we si ulike to use advanced it for no other porn than to infure shain publio interest in the pallia work of the Colony.
