A large businesa bu teẹn done during the week, Langkats re reiving most attention. After dosing at Tis. 42 cash last week the market opened at Tis. 53 cash on the publication of the output for the month of February which was 10,128 tons, being an increase of 3,990 tons over January.
Bar Silver is 26.7-3 par oz, for ready and 26.13-16, per oz. for forward delivery, market firm. Exchange on London-opened to-day at 1/11.1/8 T.T. ..
Paro Robber is quoted from London at 3 per lb, and the market for shares steady.
Banks: Hongkong and Shanghai Banke here remained firm at 8815 at which rate there have been sales and they close steady at the figure mentioned. London quotes £81.
Marine Insurances-Unious bave remained unchanged during the week, and sslea bave taken place at $845. Cantona have buyers at $823. North Chinas are wanted st Tis 139 and Yanglers at 8200 ex 73.
