Navigation in the Yangtzekiang... According to Capt. Bato, of un S. M. R. Co.'s liner Sakaki Marit, a marked shrinkage of water in the Yangtzekiang is observed, owing to the continued drought, forcing the discontinuanos of a steamer service between Chang- sha and Hankow. The navigation STEAMSHIP CO, by steamers of heavy drafta hea become a difficult undertaking, and several ships are reported to have, run aground, including: O. M. 8. N. Co. In both cases, the mud had to be removed from the river-hod and. the ships had to be lightened of their cargoes before regaining, their liberty. The present abnormal condition is expected to last till about the early part of next month.
