Claim for Indemnity. The Ministry of Communica tions is reported to be looking into the olaim of the China Mer- chants S.N. Co. for an indemnity to cover the loss sustained by the. company owing to the stoppage of trade during the past two re- volutions when their steamers were occupied in transporting troops, The Ministry is of the opinion that the company should be indemnified by the issue of poblio bonds to cover part of the amount claimed.
