Sir Willion "Lever arrived in the colony to day with Mr and Mrs Hulme Laver on the s.8. Empress of Asia The party are staying at the Hongkong Hotel.
The morning Sir W. Lever and his party were entertained to-tiffin at Government House, by H E, the Officer Administer ing the Government, and this evening they proceed to Canton.
Sir William Hesketh Lever is Chairman of Lever Bros. Ltd., Port sunlight, and of the Liver ron! School of Tropical Medicine. He was born at Bolten in 1851, was educated at Bolien Church Institute and entered his father's business in 1887.
