The Kosai Mara, which was only alightly damaged, transferred the passengers from the other vessel. and was able to resume her voy age to Fasan.

Kobe Harbour:

A meeting of the Kobe Harbour. Works Committee has agreed to a retrenchment of X.4,000,000 in the cost of the harbour works as a result of the administrative reforms. This will entail a change in the material of the sheds, a reduction in the number of cranes, {the abolition of the electric jenerating station and some mo- lification in the arrangements for connecting sea and land transport.
