Shangbai. Received Aug. 20. The Interport Swimming Contests between Shanghai and Hongkong commenced last evening in the Public Bath, and Broneed mach interest.

Hongkong won the 100 yards race, Cooke being first and Finoh second. Ccoke won by two fest, and Finch came home second by a touch. The time was 65.1-5 esconde.

In the Long Plunge, Shangbai assured both first and second positions.

The arrested men have been cont to Tientsin, where they are ordered to remain.
