Serious allegations were said to have been made against the Berkshire pul ca by William Me Cue, a commission agent, of Birmingham, on whom an in- quest was held at Lambeth. De ceased had been to Ascot and walked into Lambeth Infirmary | covered with bruises. He made certain allegations and afterwards died from heart failure caused by delirium tremens which might or might not, said the dector, have been determined by his injuries.
