To speak of the Chiu Kwan Lot Hing Co., as Magicians from Peking, is to be guilty of a mianomer, though a olever com "pany of jugglers and contortionists they most certainly are. The troape, which appeared at the Theatre Royal last night, consists of some eight or nine performers ranging from infancy to maturity. The cleverest of the band was a youngster not past his first-de- oads, who besides being a very self contained performer was good at all the tricks he performed, from somersaults to trapezë work. A Chinese lady undertook some olever foot juggling with wine jara, and a huge wheel while a male adult was remarkably smart in a somersault got in which he carried a tray fall offdiabes, jump. ed from a fair height and turned a somersault, without even a dish elinking against another. Some claver vaulting was also per- formed, giving one the impres sion that a deal of amusement
might ts obtained from an ordinary kitchen table.
