"Defendant said he was drunk.
It appeared that a telephone message was received by the po lice saying that the defendant asked a woman in Chamberlain Road to give him a drink and when she refused be attempted to Mac-smack her face. The defendant then went to the Matilda Hospital and asked the doctor in charge Shanghai, North-China, Japan certain questions... The doctor told him to leave the institution and he then tore up some flowers. The doctor coaxed him along to a cell and confined him there, The police came and took him to the station.
