At the twelfth general me sting of the 8.M.R. Co's shareholdere held at Tokyo on June 14, the general balance ebest on March 31st, 1913, and the profit and loss account for the fiscal year ended March 31st, 1913, together with the business reports for the same fiscal year, were adopted in their original forms. The proposed raising of 200,000 additional shares, amounting to Y40,000,000, by allotting two shares to each ahare held by the shareholders on the Register, was also adopted at the general meeting. The first instalment of the sbare capital is to be called up on September 1st, to the extent of one-touth, that is, of altogether Y4,000,000. This amount will make up the last re mainder of the deficit in the Com- pany's capital expenditure for the ourrent fiscal year, which amounts to Y14,100,000. The Company's contribution to the Tokyo Gov- ernment for the fireal year 1912| on its appraised investment in the Company to the amount of Y103,000,000 was also passed at Y2,000,000 as proposed, which mesos an increase on the original amount by Y500,000 The GREEN profit and loss account for the fis cal year 1912 materially tallies with what appeared in our issue of May 23rd, says the "Man- charia Daily Newe," leaving for net profit the sum of Y4,920,045, being an increase on the pre- oeding fiscal year by Y1,268,518.| Shangbai Bullion,
