CLIAM FOR DAMAGES.

Office Coolie Alleges False

Imprisonment.

In the Summary Court, this morning, before the PuisneJudge, Mr. Justice Kemp, Wong Chenk- nam, office coolio of 57 Wellington Bt, quod Messrs. Carlowitz and Co. traders, of Hougkong, claiming the sum of $500 for damages for alleged arrest of the plaintiff on a charge of forgery, which the defendants abandoned at the Police Court on January 30,

Mr. R. C. Faithfull appeared for the plaintiff, and Afr. Lowis, of Mesara, Johnson,, Stokes and Master, for the defenco.

Mr Faithfull said this was an Botion to rcover the sum of $500 as damages for false impriecu-

ment.
