Dr Hanley, I have the honor to state that it is not customary to attack conditions when they are affected in such consideration.
Cases of resumptions are rare as that under discussion.
It will be necessary that an instrument of surrender and release, prepared by Mr. Carley's Solicitor, should be transmitted to the Colony, when she will be relieved from all charges in connection with the estate, including Rent.
I may add that the Rent is paid half yearly, and if the surrender is effected before the end of June, the Rent for the present period will not, under the circumstances, be exacted.
